— OUR MISSION

Access to a healthy smile should never be determined by income, geography, or language barriers.
That belief drives everything we do. Through preventative education for the communities we serve, hygiene product distribution, and mentorship for aspiring healthcare leaders, we strive to make quality oral health care accessible to all.
BY THE NUMBERS
The oral health gap is closeable.
Founded in 2022 in San Francisco by students who witnessed the barriers to dental care firsthand, Project Smile Global has grown into a global movement of young leaders working to make oral healthcare more accessible and inclusive for underserved communities.

CHAPTER PROGRAM —
Global chapters, expanded reach.
Our Chapters Program empowers students around the world to advance our mission by creating initiatives tailored to the unique needs of their local communities.
No. 01
Care

Dental Events & Hygiene Kit Drives
Oral care kit distributions, community health fairs, and pop-up dental screenings in underserved communities. We partner with local organizations to bring preventive care directly to those who need it most, helping individuals access essential dental resources, education, and early support.
02
Education

Education & Prevention
Oral health literacy programs delivered in schools and community centers, focused on teaching proper brushing habits, nutrition, and lifelong dental hygiene practices. Our goal is to empower children, youth, and families with the knowledge and tools to prevent dental issues before they begin.
03
Advocacy

Policy Advocacy
Advocating for stronger oral health policies at the local and national levels, including expanded access to preventive care and essential dental services. We work alongside community partners and policymakers to address systemic gaps and advance equitable oral healthcare for underserved populations.
